Moonlight Sonata

Genre: Classical / Piano
Composer: Ludwig van Beethoven

I wouldn't be surprised if you tell me that you heard this piece. In fact, I would be rather shocked if you said you didn't! One of the greatest musical pieces written for the piano by one of the most famous composers of all time: Beethoven. We all know his name, and we (hopefully) all know this song. However, it is still a very nice song and I wanted to post it for sure.

Beethoven wrote Moonlight Sonata for a blind woman whom he had met. She wanted to know what the moon looked like so Beethoven gave her a way to see the moon through his music. And I think he succeeded, don't you?
